Founded by Maggie and Claire Collins, a mother and daughter with a shared passion for softness, our journey began with one simple desire: to create blankets that bring warmth and comfort to every moment.

Maggie's search for the perfect blanket started when she couldn't find what she was looking for — truly soft, beautifully made, and fairly priced. What began as a personal search quickly became something much bigger, as friends and family fell in love with what she had found.

With that passion in mind, Maggie and her daughter Claire spent months searching for the finest fleece and muslin materials, building a collection they truly believed in. Today, The Softmere Company offers over 20 products — from blankets to cushions and sleepwear — all chosen with the same standard: beautiful quality, at a price that makes sense.
